This was fine. It is very much an early 90s fantasy novel written by a man. That doesn't mean it's bad exactly, just that the women, especially the younger (read, sexy) women, in it are.... not quite believable as characters.

This was a really fun take on fantasy. If you play video games at all you will recognize the name Geralt and the Witcher. Setting that aside though this book is a collection of adventures of Geralt as the author takes well known fairy tales and twists them to this world.
It is a great read if you are looking for something different and there is a fun set of supporting characters with Dandilion and Nenneke, which provide some nice dialog for our rather gruff protagonist. I would have liked to see ...more
