I really enjoyed this book and read it very quickly. It was a fun read--a young girl defying the odds and going against the gender stereotypes to become a character from her novels and daydreams. It is clearly the first in many books following Talia's adventures, and it was a great start.
My only complaints are that Talia is a little bit too good at everything and the style of writing felt more absented from the emotional stories of the characters than I prefer. What I mean is that I felt like th ...more
