These wizards are FAAAAABULOUS! All I want to read for the rest of my life is stories about these magnificent magical bastards fucking shit up, fucking around at court, and straight up fuckin. One of those books where the impending resolution of the plot just makes you sad that you won't be able to hang out in their universe anymore.

I really enjoyed this book! Agnieszka was well-developed and a great example of a well-done female character. I did think the ending was a little rushed, compared to the slower pace of the beginning of the book, but not enough to bother me. I was slightly annoyed at the (view spoiler).

This book was pretty great. I read part of it as an audiobook, and the narrator was fantastic - I had doubts about the accent at first, but it really added to the experience.
Wonderful adventure! The plot was quick moving, and I was continually surprised by each new turn. The characters were enjoyable, and were much more morally complex than is typical in fantasy novel. I'd recommend the novel to anyone in search of a compelling, well-written, high fantasy novel.
