Going back and rereading this series has brought up some wonderful memories. And it has also pointed out somethings that I had previously ignored. This book is probably my least favorite, but still favorited, in this series. While I still love all of the characters, I started fled a bit with the romance and wanting to have the story flushed out a bit more.

The only other little issue I have with this book, and the series too, is that time passes a little oddly. There are times when whole seasons are missed and it makes me

Overall review for the series: it's decent, but definitely reads like the first novels of the author's that it is. The pacing is off, the climaxes are resolved a little too quickly and abruptly, but there's potential there and a good world and characters that have been built. Hoping the future series are better.
