What Members Thought

This book is my childhood. It still brings back memories of sneaking to the school library whenever I could. Alanna is such a strong willed character and this story starts a journey of accepting who you are and becoming who you want to be.

I didn't read this series until I was 19 but everytime I reread it I feel like I am back with childhood friends. There is something very familiar and comfortable about returning to these characters.

Overall review for the series: it's decent, but definitely reads like the first novels of the author's that it is. The pacing is off, the climaxes are resolved a little too quickly and abruptly, but there's potential there and a good world and characters that have been built. Hoping the future series are better.
