3.5 stars. I had high hopes for this book. I really enjoyed Twilight and I liked Midnight Sun and New Moon even more so I was surprised that Eclipse wasn't at the same high level. It started out with Edward as an extreme control freak over Bella and it didn't feel at all like the Edward from the other books. He lets up later on but then there is the love triangle with Jacob and it felt forced to me.

Amazing
december 11, 2022. this might be my favorite re-read of the twilight saga. maybe because this is the longest i’ve gone without re-reading them, but i’m filled with this intense love for them, finding things i’ve never seen before, loving them in a whole new way. eclipse was such an edward cullen book for me. you don’t understand, these characters have been part of me since 2008, when i first read the series, and i’d never really understood his appeal, but i do now !!!!! also fuck jacob, fr.
