Such an interesting and eye opener book for me. I learned about a part of history that I didn’t totally understand before. I had read about segregation and inequality, economic disparity, etc, but the way the author told the stories with examples made me understand even more. She conducted 1200 interviews and took 15 years to finish her book. The Great Migration lasted 60 yrs and affected four generations. At end six million people migrated from the South to the North.
