DELIGHTFUL. If you love to escape into literature and history, lose yourself in this book. You won't regret it. It's full of quirky and lovable characters, with a few deplorable ones thrown in for spice. This is an excellent example of an epistolary novel written in several different voices.

like reading a bbc tv movie
I loved parts about the book. I liked the man that Juliet ends up with and I like some of the members of the Society but there was some unnecessary stupidity in the "investigation" of the love interests and it felt like there was an agenda. There was an agenda to brainwash you. I don't like books like that. There was a gay guy and I don't have anything against them but I don't like it shoved in my face like I'm supposed to feel sorry for them because I have know many who didn't throw it in my fa
