What Members Thought
An interesting book that is primarily about freedom, choice, and consequences. It is enjoyable to read and provides some food for thought. It is about a community where no one feels pain or sadness. As you might expect they are also lacking in the area of love and happiness. I liked this book, but not the ending. It is always fun to speculate, but for some reason I wanted this one to end definitively.
I have read this book several times through my life and I love it. I just found out about the other three books in The Giver series. I can’t wait to read them too.
