David Allen did to productivity, what countless authors and celebrities have done for exercise and diet: created a new quasi-religious movement that is near impossible to implement to full fidelity.
Somewhere between Mari Kondo’s magic and Allen’s GTD must be a productivity approach that actually meets humans where they are at (I can already see Allen’s response to this).

I read the first edition of GTD, but felt that it was not well structured for digital work.
The new edition (2015) is much better in that sense, but the implementation is not easy to execute and requires a lot of work.
