I read this book in high school. The characteres and description of the heath stayed with me many years until I got into a discussion with a high school friend and then with two of my siblings - we all remembered the characters and tidbits, but couldn't remember the name of the book. After doing some research I rediscovered and read it again. I found it once again captivating. Worth the read.
