It really took a very long time for me to complete this book.
I read a lot of good reviews about this book and decided to give it a try. On one fine day I purchased a copy from Landmark stores in Pune, to be exact, it was the Valentines day of 2012 and I was on a business trip :)
Initially this was a little difficult book for me. Writing style of Marquez is very uncommon, it took some time for me to adjust my rhythm with him.

interesting book looking at love either lost or found in the turn of the 20th century latin america , took me awhile to get into the book with some of the prose used but maybe that was down to the book being translated but grew to like the book more and more as I was reading it
Whilst I enjoyed the skillfull prose and beautiful language of this book, I was also "creeped-out" by it. I expected a book about love,
