really enjoyed this story of the pitch of warren tracy and the pitch to joe castle ( calico joe) and the relationship of warren and his son paul and the emotional journey as warren is diagnoised with cancer and the book uses the backdrop of baseball to show how illness can change relationships and feelings and how the past can influence some future events
I quite liked this, not too long, no courtroom dramas and you didn't really need to know anything about baseball!
