really enjoyed this western of the sisters brother charlie and eli and how they queston their lifes as they hunt for hermann kermit mann
I read this fairly quickly, savouring every page, and now that it is finished, I'm missing it. The characterisation was excellent, the plot strong and the end was very satisfying. Some unexpected and great vocabulary too.

Loved this book so much, one of my favourites in recent years. The cover is brilliant and even though I would never normally pick up a story about two murderers in gold rush America, the amount of positive reviews and recommendations had me intrigued.
The characters were engaging and interesting, each with their own story to tell. Eli was a brilliant narrator and I really sympathised with him and his wrestle with his conscience. I loved his relationship with Tub.
