interesting and gripping modern view of society in the late 21st century through the eyes of a handmaid who can still remember the days before gilead, reminds so much like a modern take on brave new world and well worth reading
“The Handmaid’s Tale” had sat on my bookshelf for years and I have to say, I’d never been tempted to read it. Friends had praised the novel, but it wasn’t until it was chosen as a book group read this month, that I took the plunge. How glad I am that I did!
