What Members Thought
This book really drew me in and will stay with me a long time after I've finished it. I don't re-read a lot of books but this one I will do. The characters are really well described and developed over the story. The plot starts relatively slowly and builds up until you can hardly bear to put it down.

The Help took me by surprise; I enjoyed it far more than I expected to. The characterisation is perfect and the narrative fantastic. It took me a few chapters to really get into the story but once there I hated to put it down. Initially my favourite character was Minny but by the end I found Skeeter inspirational. There were lots of interesting threads and the only one to slightly disappoint was Constantine’s. I especially liked the way the unfairness of that time was not glossed over. Fantast
