What Members Thought

This is an awesome book. It is saturated with symbolism, and metaphors. Even though the book is short it tells more of a story than books twice its size. It is horrific what the pigs do to the other animals. The only that bothers me about this book is that it paints communism as 100% bad. If it was used correctly it would be a great system.

The political and emotional motives and behavior of people applied to animals is brilliant. I just didn't find it all that enthralling of a story. It's the Anti-Communist Manifesto with pigs as the ruling class. I'm giggling to myself as I write this. If I was Stalin, I would have banned it too.
