This is the first book I've read by this author but it will not be the last! I loved it. The main character is sweet but she's got just enough southern sass to keep her from being a pushover. Her relationship with her ex-husband is different, actually pretty good despite what he did to her, which makes you like her even more because she's risen above it and she's kept her self-respect. I actually figured out who the murderer was before the end! I liked the characters and all their complicated relationships. Mysteries can be fairly simplistic in that way. This was a nice change.
