An enchanting April in Italy, a castle, 4 women. Tranquillity is the goal.
It is an enchanting book. The characters are very lifelike and well rounded. The language, style and pace are excellent.
While this might at first sight be a book about nothing (or very small things), behind all the small things and conversations, we see the world of the protagonists unfold itself.

I loved, loved, loved this book. It was recommended to me by someone when I mentioned I was reading A Room With a View by E. M. Forster and I couldn't be happier that I found the audiobook on Libby read by Wanda McCaddon and listened to it. Just a beautiful, upbeat story about four British women, largely unknown to each other, who rent a villa in Italy for the month of April at the turn of the 20th century. After a rocky start it becomes a positive life changing month for all of them. Loved it.
