Take a sexy, hot hockey player and toss him into a steamy romance and I'm there!!!

I devoured this book this afternoon and have to say that I loved, Loved, LOVED The Enforcer!! Lacey and Jody were destined to be hot, right from the moment they met. Both of them had trust issues stemming from past relationships and Jody has the extra burdens of anger issues and wanting to take care of Lacey, who wants to take care of herself. What a hot combination!!

I have mixed feelings about this book. On the positive side, the story was quite good--a quick and enjoyable romantic read. It actually reminded me a lot of the movie Rocky. The hero (Jody) is a sports figure in NHL hockey, not noted for his playing but for his fighting ability, not the most handsome guy, self-deprecating but charming, looking for "the one."
