I have been meaning to read this for a while, glad I finally did.
It was a good book with a lot of potential for the series moving forward to develop.
However being a cozy mystery it was not groundbreaking, but different in some ways than so many because the MC didn't actually stumble upon the body, just got caught up in the investigation. ...more

I liked this one better than I thought I would. I liked Abby quite a bit, although she gets handed a lot of clues because of her "intuition". This is cheating, but then she makes it quite difficult on herself by promptly forgetting all her flashes unless she wrote them down. Which offsets the cheat somewhat. The only reason I'm giving this a 3-star rating instead of a 4 is because the ending is forced upon us by some dumb decisions on Abby's part. That she would be prompted to do so because of t ...more

One of the books that I got as a birthday gift a couple of years ago. Abby Cooper; Psychic Eye is a cute mystery novel and the main character is psychic which was fascinating. Recently I have liked a lot of lighter mystery books like this one.

Psychic reader, Abby, thinks of her life as ‘vanilla ice cream, good enough, but a little bland.’ Then things begin to change. A client ends up dead and the blind date she thinks has promise turns out to be the investigator on the case. Her intuition puts her in the cross-hairs of the investigation and the killer who thinks she knows too much. However, this book is not all serious. There are some LOL moments.
