Abby Cooper is a psychic intuitive (well basically a high-end fortune teller). However her intuition is fueled by her spirit guides who send her visions that she must interpret. Usually with something like - I'm feeling something blue is very important to you. Which lets the customer interpret rather than Abby determine what the "feeling" actually means. I've had this on MtTBR for so many years, 10 at least, but it was worth the wait because I enjoyed it a lot. Abby is a likeable character, as is Dutch: in fact, all the supporting characters worked very well. I enjoyed all the psychic nonsense & wish I had some of it myself. Five murders is a pretty good haul for such a short book. A light, entertaining read & I look forward to reading more in the series. ...more

After purchasing my Kindle I was on the hunt for light mystery reads as a change of pace from my prior reading habits. Abby Cooper: Psychic Eye fit the bill perfectly. This book was a quick and easy read, and the descriptions of Abby's psychic abilities were clever and interesting. The story was a bit predictable, but the build up to the climax of the book was exciting and kept me wanting to read more. Abby's character was nicely fleshed out but the supporting characters left a bit to be desired ...more
