I can't go wrong with Nora Roberts, I enjoyed most of her books and she is definitely one of my favourite authors ever.

Unfortunately, this time I wasn't in the mood to read anything, so I struggled even with this book. As much as I enjoyed the story and the characters, this book didn't grab me as much as some other ones from Nora Roberts. This is one of the latest Nora Roberts' standalone novels and a good one.
I have never heard about smokejumpers who fight the forest fires jumping out of the plane into the heart of the fire. So exciting! The story revolved around a group of forest firefighters--a dangerous job, but a group of men and women with a closeness and camaraderie much like soldiers. A little romance, a little danger, a little intrigue, all add up to an exciting and enjoyable read.

Wow! I really love Nora Roberts' books but this one will be at the top of the list for me (at least so far!) It had everything. A great love story where the characters had great chemistry, mystery, suspense and a great background story of firefighters that parachute in to fight the fire! The only thing I'm sorry about is that it took me too long to get to this one! ...more
