This was a reread and as good as I remembered. Freighter captain, Trilby, rescues Rhis Vanur on a remote toxic world where she is doing work on her vehicle. He hides his true identity and Trilby remains suspicious of his arrival in an enemy craft. When her friend is reported kidnapped she accepts Rhis' help to complete repairs and head out. Soon she finds she is also a target of the enemy and her growing attachment to Rhis is halted when she learns his identity. Rhis has to work hard to get back
