2.5 stars rounded up to 3 stars. This could've been a sweet chick-lit, but it's tragically heartbreaking and dysfunctional. But this drama does not improve the story, but make it less predictable and less likeable.

Shelves: romance, chick-lit, relationships

Luanne Rice writes very emotional stories, and this one is no exception. She deals with relationships, families, loss, and hope. She writes with passion and compassion. This book is about a woman who faces cancer. But she isn't the only one who faces it--her entire family becomes involved, of course, as well as the people she meets along the way and come to love her.
