I was getting ready to read book 2 and realized that I had forgotten what happened in book 1 so I decided to read it again. This is a very light and easy read and not to be mistaken for your typical angel reads. Our angel swears, smokes, drinks, and even finds time for a romp (or two). Hmm, so that's how Ward tips the scales for balance. I must admit that when I finished this book, I had more questions than answers regarding Jim Heron, the Fallen Angel.
I am a admitted BDB junkie, but I am really liking the Fallen Angels. They aren't perfect by any stretch of the imagination, but Ward very seldom has perfect characters. Can't get enuf of this storyline! JR Ward's touch of course, but so different from the BDB. It's so much more!!
