I enjoyed Rhage's story, well, Rhage and Mary's story. It was good at the beginning, got a little wobbly for me in the middle, but finished strong. I was having a hard time with how any of this story could end well!

I like this series and the brother warriors, but I did not like this book as much as the first one. The female lead was irritating and there were some continuity issues with the series that makes the books weak as stand alone novels. I think this series is read best start to finish without long gaps between each book.
