He rubbed his face and looked at her. Adored her so intensely in the quiet darkness that he was afraid of her.

Having just finished Book 1 in the series, the Black Dagger Brotherhood world was still very fresh in my mind when I read Lover Eternal, and I appreciated the differences in the two books (I find that sometimes PNRs fall into a formulaic trap, specifically with the "fated mates" aspect). Mary and Rhage's relationship development and etc. was all very different from Beth and

Oh man I am loving this series!! Rhage is such a wonderfully written character! He has way more depth that shown in the first book. He appears to be a player and a heartbreaker just looking for a piece of a$$. But is all has to do with his cures and urges it brings about. And really her feels empty until he finds his mate.

Mary broke my heart a little. She over came illness only to have it rear it's ugly head again! Oh and she and Rhage are

This is the second book in Black Dagger Brotherhood series and much better then the first one, although I have been told that book 1 was the weakest of the series.

I really really enjoyed the characters in this book. Especially Rhage and Zsadist. Rhage isn't just a pretty face who is all about himself, getting what he wants, at least not anymore, there are reasons for is actions.

And there is so much potential to be had with the Zsadist story I can't wait to get into it.

Book 2 of the Black Dagger Brotherhood was even better then the first! I can see why people say the books are like crack - they are completely addictive! As soon as I finished it I started on the 3rd. It's hard not to. Ward sucks you in by starting the next story at the end of the book so you have to keep reading.
A lot of people like Zsadist the best after reading the third book, but I think Rhage and his beast are way better then Zsadist and his baggage! Having read the first 3 books, he's by f

Story brought tears to my eyes the book. While some questions are answered it leaves even more that are asked. I looks foward to the rest of the series.
