This book was way better than I thought it would be. Most of the paranormal romance books I pick up to read ends up having the guy who has too much angst and woe is me going on. Makes me want to slap them. And the women?? I'm all for a strong woman but, errrr!, can't you just stop and listen! Makes me want to slap them too.

But this book had the strong, dark male, who of course has issues, but knows when to put them aside and get on with it. The female is strong and independent but knows how to t ...more

Eventually he relaxed a little. The tears slowed.

I think the butler is such a sweetheart. I love how he put tears to Beth's eyes. He gave her something that no one else could of given her. It made my eyes misty when he told Beth how her father kept track of her and how he loved her. Loved it and can't wait to read the next. I'm off to reserve it from my library. ...more

Her life is turned upside down when she meets Wrath. The gorgeous and dangerous king of the vampires. Turns out vampires are not created they are born. Vampires don't suck human blood they suck female vampire blood.

Awesome book. I felt it was a fresh vampire idea (which is a hard something to pull off in contemporary society; though I may be wrong as I haven't dabbled all that much in vampire lit)and it was very fun to read. I loved both the main characters and I liked that main female one wasn't always just a damsel-in-distress kind of character. ...more
