5 stars. Good grief this was a-freaking-mazing! I enjoyed the first book but this one was infinitely better than that one! I've finally found a series about Angels that I actually like.

I absolutely love Laini Taylor's writing style. It's so beautiful and gripping and kind of poetic and she paints a vivid picture of her world and characters. All of her characters feel like individuals and have their own distinct personalities. I didn'

This is one horribly awesome ride! So much heartache, yet so much to love! Beautiful writing as in the previous book, the characters were fleshed out even better *no pun intended lol* and I just feel my heart going on a never ending roller-coaster ride. The plot wasn't as exciting to me as in the first book, but I think that was mostly due to the fact that I missed Prague so much. That just added so much atmosphere... Lol
A great second book to this series!

The whole book seems to drop a bombshell on you throughout the entire book. Maybe I'm clueless, but I have to say quite a bit caught me by surprise. I was never quite sure which way the story was going to head. Everytime I tried to make a guess, it went a whole different way. The characters are well written with each one having their own di ...more
