Wow, just when you think the wild ride is over, one more layer is revealed and things get even more dangerous.

This is one of my favorite series and didn't disappoint. We got to see just about everyone from the previous books (which was nice since the last book was very focused on Adam and Mercy) we even get to meet Tad. Adam and the pack are kidnapped and Mercy must protect Jesse and figure out who is behind it to save the pack and herself. There is more than they knew and leads to even more dan

Mercy is my absolute favourite UF series. I portion them out like a really delicious snack, so that I don't run out too soon. Also, I didn't like the last "honeymoon" book very much, so I was crossing my fingers that we'd be back on track with this one. And we definitely were. It's funny because I don't usually like shifter books, but I love this series. And I don't generally like romance in my paranormal books, but Mercy+ Adam = adorable and I love them. This has always been a series that I like, but I don't love it as much as a lot of people seem to. This installment was no different in that respect. The book started off quickly and, while the pace did slow a bit around the halfway mark, the plot always remained intriguing. I liked getting to see some of the pack members (and Stefan) again after their absence in the last book. There are some lighter moments interspersed with the darker scenes, which I thought kept a nice balance. I'm looking fo ...more

Mercy Thompson continues to be one of my absolute favorite female leads, and this book took a really interesting turn, and I enjoyed how the story came together. I will definitely try and get to the next book a lot faster than the time between books 6 and 7.

Because this is the 7th book in the series I won't go into any detail about what happened, but just know that I loved it and will highly recommend this series to anyone.

I know it took me a lot longer for me to read this than I'd initially an

"You should have brought the van", said my step-daughter.

I absolutely love this series! I enjoy the interaction between the characters, the diversity of the key players and the strength of the storyline.

The story begins shortly after the end of Fair Game. Mercy and Jesse are out shopping at midnight on Black Friday when they are involved in an accident. Their calls for help go to voicemail for everyone they attempt to contact. They soon learn that the pack has been kidnapped and Ben is the lone

Decent. I'm starting to think a real love scene between Mercy and Adam is in order though. Nothing fancy, and not all the time, but they do a lot of flirting and sighing... ...more
