Another fantastic Mercy story. The Pack is kidnapped so Mercy has to save them with some help from allies. New Wolf friend, Asil, The Moor, is a powerful though a bit dangerous and unstable.

Surprisingly Frost is the name of the villain not an indication of the weather or temperature.

WooHoo!! I adore this series and it just gets better and better with each book!! There is just so much going on in this book that you are kept on the edge of your seat the whole time!! The pacing was beautifully done and the storytelling once again top notch!!

Now this is what the series is supposed to be like! Action, action, action. Adam and the entire werewolf pack (except for one person) gets kidnapped and Mercy has to find and rescue them. I totally loved the chapters from Adam's perspective. He is such an amazing character. And Mercy really showed what's she's made of in this installment. This book has it all, werewolves, a coyote shifter, vampires, fae, humans, ghosts and even zombies. There is something for everyone and the action gets ramped ...more

Shelves: wobble

I read it backward in 50 page chunks because I meant to just dip in and remind myself of bits. Oops. It was interesting comparing kidnapped-Adam to kidnapped Mercy in the later book, and also to see this take on vampire politics. And of course Stefan is awesome.
