Anna Latham & Charles Cornick
First, you really should read Alpha & Omega before this. It'll give you a better understanding of what's happening at the beginning of this book with Anna and Charles.
I've been reading the Mercy Thompson series (I love Mercy) and I like getting to see things that were mentioned there being told from a different perspective.

Upon re-reading 7 years later, I had forgotten much of the plot of this book. It was a good solid story, with lots of rich character development.
I remember being crazy confused with the beginning the last time I read this, and it does sort of pick up in the middle of a huge cluster of problems, but I think Briggs handles this well. I'm not sure what my problem was last time, unless I just couldn't keep character names straight?
I have 3 more in this series waiting for me, and I'm a huge Mercy Tho ...more
