4 stars. I really liked this one but it wasn’t my favorite. I think the first half of the book was a lot stronger than the second half. Mercy having the dark thoughts that she didn’t understand was creepy and intriguing and I wanted more of that but she immediately figures out what’s going on and then that whole thing is dropped unfortunately. It could’ve went on a lot longer and taken this book in a whole different direction but what we got wasn’t bad at all either. I was invested in everything ...more

I liked that there was much more internal conflict in this one inside the pack, and that the villains weren't the only big focus (like the vampires and fae have been in previous books). ...more
