Mercy is not my favourite series from Briggs. I definitely prefer her Alpha & Omega series. Anyway, this book is quite a nice read.

Mercy is healing after the events in the previous book surrounded by the pack and her friends. But she is brought into a complicated game played by the vampire mistress Marsilia. Unexpectedly she is also asked for help by her old school mate whose house is hunted.

I'm glad I took a break from this series because it was good to dive back in. Does that even make sense? There were a couple creepy moments in this one, which was good. The pack dynamics are even interesting now! Still not a huge fan of Adam, but liked him better than I remembered. ...more

A 3.5 for me I'm sad to say. Although I didn't enjoy this one as well as the previous books - I'm sure my fangirl love affair will continue. And it is a good ride as usual.
