Coyotes, vampires, werewolves, oh my...
Mercy Thompson is one interesting gal with a wide variety of friends and enemies -- fae, ghosts, zombies, vampires, werewolves. This book really has something for everyone.
Mercy's adventures remind me of Anita Blake's, in that, there is never just one problem/enemy for her to defeat. All seem to gang up and attack at once, leaving Mercy (and Anita) fighting for her life and drawing down more power than she knew she possessed.

Mercy has to take on the vamps while dealing with issues from previous books. But she is totally up to the challenge. I hope we get more details on the coven in future books. This was a tough one as lots of characters get tortured and the vamp Queen is so not nice!

This one wasn't as fun to read as the others, but I still thought it was good.

I love Mercy, she is one kick ass chick. This series just keeps on getting better and better.
