4 stars. This was my favorite in the series so far. This series is super long so I’m more than positive that will change somewhere down the line but as of now, this is the one for me. It starts off slow and calm and gradually builds upon itself until all hell breaks completely loose and things start to hit the fan. I feel like this may be the book where the series really gets going.

Mercy Thompson, coyote walker, is asked by her fae friend, Zee, to help sniff out a murderer.
