This one is a little hard for me to rate. I am having a hard time pulling my scattered thoughts together about this book but I'll try to be as clear as possible.
First of all, I honestly think that the reason I am struggling to put my thoughts down is that I bought into the hype of this series. As I read more and more paranormal books, I am finding I am liking them more and more. I'm still amazed at myself! If you had spoken to me this time last year I would have said that I would never pick up a paranormal book if you paid me. Goodness, wouldn't I have missed out. This, the first book in the Mercy Thompson series, was a fantastic start. I immediately took to Mercy and her personality - intelligent but willing and happy to work in a garage, attractive but not in a bombshell kind of way

An awesome series that I give an enthusiastic two thumbs up!!! Not only a great concept but also well written which isn't always the case with the genre.
