What Members Thought
First let me say that I really, really enjoyed the first two books in this series. However, I really couldn't stand this book and I tried more than once. I love the world building in the Iron Seas series but the story and the characters in this book were just BORING!

I've rated this a solid 3.5 which I've rounded up to 4. I do really enjoy this series - every one so far has been fun, clever and surprising. The author's world building is just spectacular as I think I've said before and her flawed characters are brilliant. I thoroughly enjoyed Annika's lack of 'New World' manners and she and David were a great couple. I think the only thing that detracted from this book was that it was a little slow in parts.
