3.5 Stars! The second book is actually quite a bit different then the first book although I enjoyed them both. For those who had trouble with the Hero in Book 1 you won't in Book 2. Archimedes Fox couldn't be more different. He isn't an Alpha male and yet he is still strong. It actually worked really well, and Yasmeen's character would not have worked with an Alpha male because she is the Alpha in this book. She's tough and strong and rarely lets down her guard. This was surprisingly fun and I'll be looking for the rest in the series. I'm not usually one who goes for zombie hordes but this alternate history where the Mongolian Empire took over Europe despite a zombie plague with a steampunk vibe was highly entertaining.
