I'm not sure where to start on my thoughts for this book. At first, Emmaline was so annoying and Lachlain was troubled and overbearing, but since we knew of his past his 'flaws' were easier to overlook. Fortunately, Emma comes into her own and Lachlain calms a bit. Even with all that, the story gripped me from the start and I couldn't put it down.

The characters are all so interwoven and the Lore is quite intriguing. I'm looking forward to finding out everyone's connections/secrets and more about ...more
