Another entertaining tale about Atticus and his friends.
My favorite part is as follows:
SMALL SPOILER FROM CHAPTER 3

When Atticus has imagined Spock and Kirk on his shoulders instead of the classic devil angel.
"Kirk kissed his self-control good-bye. "Damn it, Spock, we're on a different plane of existence here, and sometimes you just have to say fuck it and let your balls swing heavy, free, and low. Right, Atticus? Kill 'em all! For Ratatosk!"
"Captain, our mission here is purloin an apple that co

I'm still not in the mood for reading being too involved in all the tasks that have to be done. So I decided on this book because the two previous ones worked really good for me and I was despaired for something light and funny. But I was a bit disappointed with this story. Maybe it's my fault.

I still found it funny and laughed a lot but the plot wasn't as grabbing as in the previous books and the ending was so sombre and serious. Not what I was looking for. And there were some parts a bit too s

A bit more serious in tone than the previous books, but still has a good slice of humor that's enjoyable and I like the introduction of consequences. ...more

3.5 stars

While I enjoyed this book, I didn't like it quite as much as the previous entries in the series. I think this may be because the majority of the book was building up to going to Asgard, which slowed the pace of the book down for me.

This picks up where Hexed left off, with Atticus planning on keeping his promise to Leif to help him kill Thor. Despite warnings from both Jesus and the Morrigan, Atticus continues to plan Thor's demise, the consequences of which could change Atticus' life f

This book started off with a bang....and a lot of information! I loved it once I got my head around all the Norse mythology. Atticus is at his best as he attempts to fulfill promises made to various friends/allies. Much more serious than the previous two books. The last few chapters had me in tears. Can't wait for the next installment! 4.5 stars ...more

I did not like this book as much as the first two. There was altogether too much violence, death and sadness. Everything was no-win. Not enough Oberon, not enough fluff, not enough humour. The ending drew me in though. I want to know what will happen next, where will Atticus go, what happened to the widow, Leif, the pack, everything.
