I'm not sure I can continue to gush about how good this series is without repeating myself and becoming very boring. I haven't even finished reading the whole series and already I want to go back to the beginning to start all over again. In this, the 5th book, Kate is facing the destruction of everything magic. In a rare show of solidarity, every magical faction comes together to try and overcome the problem but, of course, it is Kate with her utter awesomeness who takes centre stage.

Kate's shop is not thriving and Andrea joins her after the Order promotes her to Master of Arms and then retires her for mentally unfit for duty (being a were).
