Seanan McGuire is one of my favorite authors. I make no secret of that. She's prolific, she's friendly, and her books are kickass. I love the October Daye series, but I've only read it once all the way through. I've been meaning to get around to a reread for a while, so what more perfect way to do that than with the 10th Anniversary edition of book one? Right?!

I've heard so many good things about this book and have had it recommended it to me a few times but never got around to it but I finally did and I'm glad I did. Toby is a half bread where she has felt that she didn't fit in either world but lives in the human world where she uses her fae powers to get around and do her PI job but while looking for the lords family who they believe was abducted by his brother, Toby losses 14 years of her life.
