I tend to approach classics with a certain amount of trepidation. Which explains why it took me so long to get to this. I've found a goodly number to be overrated. I was waiting for a major event in this book and then realized it wasn't necessary. Then I knew I was really hooked.

A thoughtful lesson in the power of ignorance, intolerance, and hatred.
