One has to remember the time period when this book takes place; and be IN that time period while reading. A great storyline of one's growth...in a history of injustice, and daily questions of morality, humanity, and a stance for beliefs.

Loved Scout's bluntness, boldness, and overall attitude throughout. Adored Atticus-a man with more to his character than meets the eye. ...more
