I do not remember reading this book while in high school so when the debate came up in my family’s book club, I thought why not read it and the new one!

With everything that is going on in the world today, I thought this was beautifully and poignantly written. The way Harper Lee can explain the horrors of what is in everyone’s thoughts is amazing. I have been thinking about this one for a few days. I never read this in high school and it was on my TBR list for a long time. This is one of those books that is on all the must read lists. I enjoyed the story, liked the characters, etc. but I can honestly say I do not see why so many people say this is one of the best books EVER. Glad I read it.
