Clearly there's a good reason why To Kill a Mockingbird is such a classic. I've seen the movie a million times but never read the book until now. There's so much that the movie misses, and yet there are good reasons why certain characters are left out, like Aunt Alexandra. Of course, I love Boo Radley all the more now that the book helped me to understand him. However, I do admit that it was hard to read at times. I greatly dislike the "n" word and it made quite a lot of appearances in the book, ...more
