Not bad!
I really enjoy the lightheartedness of Sophie Kinsella books and this was a pretty decent story about a girl named Lexi who loses her memory in an accident and loses the last three years of her life. Turns out that she got the second chance she obviously needed in the direction that her life was going prior.
I wasn't all that impressed with how this book ended. It was predictable in some ways and a let down in others to not have some questions answered.
I will probably read more Sophie ...more

3.5 hilarious chick-flick stars!!
Its the year 2004. Imagine yourself on the streets of a big city, all dishevelled and depressed because you were denied a significant bonus which every screw-head in your department was rewarded with. You get drunk, and while you wait desperately for some means of transport, you slip and go stumbling down rightaway. Boom! There’s a huge bump on your head.

This is the first book I have read by Sophie Kinsella and she is not an author I would consider reading if I hadn't had a chick-lit spot to fill on a challenge so I was pleasantly surprised to find myself enjoying it. I actually listened to the audio version read by Charlotte Parry and I think she did a great job. Lexie Smart, the protagonist, wakes up in the hospital after a car accident to discover that she has lost the last three - very significant - years of her life to amnesia. Nothing, inc

Nice, easy read. Would serve as a welcome break from anything serious you might have been reading just before this and thus looking for a break.
This however got me thinking what would I have done, if I would have been in the shoes of the protagonist and most importantly, what would I do, if it ever happens with Me (God forbid, though!)
Recommended!
