I really enjoyed this book; such a cool take on vampires! Lucan and Gabrielle were an interesting couple, though I find myself becoming somewhat desensitized to the whole insta-love mates thing. Still a fun and intriguing read; I look forward to continuing this series.

Okay story of a girl who sees vampires, even when other humans are brainwashed away from them. The only thing I did not love was the Breed origin story of aliens and sustenance.
